Website content and the active page
The extension reads native image and video elements and their media-source URLs on Facebook Ad Library and TikTok Creative Center to add download controls. Clicking a control sends the media URL, media type and page title to the extension's local service worker. The worker validates the requesting page and media host. Page titles and media URLs are not retained in the archive or uploaded to Tikkivo.
The popup reads the active-tab URL to show whether a supported library is open. The extension does not monitor general browsing history or record clicks, mouse movements or keystrokes for analytics.
Downloads and local storage
Chrome downloads selected media directly from its source. Source hosts receive ordinary request information, including your IP address and any browser-provided authentication applicable to the request. The extension does not inspect those credentials or use IP addresses to determine your location. Saved files remain in your configured Chrome download location. Known source formats retain their suffix; unidentified formats use .bin.
Local extension storage contains the daily free-download count, naming and folder preferences, and a bounded archive of up to 100 download entries. Entries contain filename, platform, media type, timestamps, browser download ID, status and quota-reservation bookkeeping. The archive does not contain absolute system paths or media URLs. Pending or uncertain reservations may be retained to prevent accidental duplicate downloads and quota bypasses.
Media discovery, quota enforcement and archive management run locally. The extension includes no advertising or third-party analytics SDK.
Billing and authentication
ExtensionPay manages licensing identifiers, account email when supplied, installation timestamps, subscription plans, payment dates and subscription status. The packaged SDK sends licensing requests to ExtensionPay and may store identifiers and cached account details in Chrome sync storage, falling back to local storage. Chrome can synchronize this licensing data according to your browser settings.
Stripe handles hosted checkout and payment information. The extension does not read full payment card numbers or security codes. ExtensionPay and Stripe process necessary account, network and billing records under their own policies. Consult ExtensionPay for current privacy information and Stripe privacy for payment-processing practices.
Permissions and executable code
The storage permission retains the allowance, archive, preferences and licensing information. The downloads permission saves user-selected files, tracks completion or interruption, and opens or shows the extension's own known completed downloads. It reconciles the extension's own pending download IDs after a service-worker restart; it does not enumerate unrelated downloads.
When you open the popup, activeTab lets it check whether your selected tab is a supported library. Automatic content scripts are limited to Facebook Ad Library and TikTok Creative Center paths. Persistent host access is limited to https://extensionpay.com/* for licensing and the packaged payment content script. The extension does not request access to every website.
All executable JavaScript, including the ExtensionPay SDK, is included in the extension package. External requests retrieve licensing data or media files, not remotely executed code.
Use and sharing
Data is used to save and organize media, enforce the local allowance, verify Premium access and provide support. Tikkivo does not sell user data, use it for advertising or unrelated purposes, or use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending.
Service providers may process data as needed for these functions. Information may be disclosed when legally required or at your explicit direction. Tikkivo's use and transfer of information received through Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. You control downloaded files and their subsequent sharing.
Retention and deletion
Clear archive removes completed local log entries, not downloaded files, daily quota counters or active or uncertain reservations. Delete downloaded files using your operating system. Uninstalling removes local extension storage; synchronized licensing records are subject to Chrome settings.
Uninstalling does not cancel billing or delete provider account records. Use subscription management to cancel your plan. Contact [email protected] for account-data questions. Provider records may be retained for legal, tax, fraud-prevention or operational needs under their policies.
If you email support, Tikkivo receives your email address and the information you choose to send and uses them to respond. Never send passwords, signed media URLs, tokens, full payment card details or customer personal data.
Contact and changes
Send privacy questions and requests to [email protected]. Changes to this policy will update the effective date, with additional notice or consent where required.
