Data the extension handles
When you start a scan, the extension reads the active storefront URL, checks page-source signatures for Shopify, and uses public product links, JSON endpoints and sitemaps to discover products. It processes product titles, descriptions, vendors, tags, variants, prices, SKUs and image URLs, together with other supported public product fields.
The selected store URL and domain are used for the scan and export filename. Saved price snapshots include the store domain, snapshot date and product or variant identifiers and prices. The extension does not monitor your general browsing history or record clicks, keystrokes or mouse movements.
ExtensionPay handles subscription account information, including an email address when supplied, licensing identifiers used for authentication, installation timestamps, subscription plan, payment status and payment dates. The bundled SDK receives and caches subscription information to determine Premium access. Stripe processes payment details on its hosted checkout. The extension does not read or store your full card number or card security code.
Processing and storage
Product scanning and CSV conversion run on your device. Scan results remain in popup memory; closing the popup cancels a running scan. Downloaded CSV files remain wherever you save them. Product data is not uploaded to Tikkivo servers for processing.
If you choose to save a Premium price snapshot, it is stored in Chrome local storage on that device. History is bounded to 30 snapshots per store and 50,000 price entries in total; older entries may be removed when those limits are reached. Price history is based on snapshots you save, not automatic monitoring or prices from before installation.
ExtensionPay uses Chrome sync storage where available, with local storage as a fallback, for licensing identifiers and cached account information. Chrome may synchronize that SDK data through your browser account according to your Chrome settings. Product price history uses local storage rather than Chrome sync storage.
Network requests and service providers
Scanning sends requests to the storefront you select. Product thumbnails load from the original image hosts. Those sites receive standard request information, such as your IP address, as part of serving the requested resources.
ExtensionPay receives licensing requests and manages subscription access. Stripe handles checkout and subscription payments. These providers process the information necessary to deliver their services under their own policies. Consult ExtensionPay for its current privacy information and Stripe privacy for payment processing practices. Standard network information may also be received by those providers. The extension does not use IP addresses to determine your location.
Sheets-ready exports download a CSV for you to import manually into Google Sheets. The extension does not connect to your Google account or automatically upload or synchronize product data with Google Sheets.
Use and sharing
Tikkivo uses the information described here only to provide product exports, user-requested price history, subscription access and support. Tikkivo does not sell user data, use it for advertising, or use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
Information may be handled by service providers as needed for these features, disclosed when legally required, or shared at your explicit direction. CSV files you export are under your control. Review their contents and the destination's privacy practices before sharing or importing them.
The extension's use of information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Permissions and executable code
The storage permission supports licensing and saved price history. Opening the extension grants temporary activeTab access to the selected tab. When you click Scan Store Products, the scripting permission injects the bundled scraper into that tab's main frame. It reads storefront signatures and product links only for your requested scan. The extension does not request persistent access to all websites or automatically install its scraper on storefronts.
Persistent host access is limited to https://extensionpay.com/* for licensing and the packaged payment content script. Product thumbnails are requested from their original image hosts when you view scan results. Chrome revokes temporary activeTab access when the tab closes or navigates to a different origin.
All executable extension code, including the ExtensionPay SDK, is bundled in the extension package. Product and licensing responses are data, not remotely executed code.
Retention and your choices
Use the popup's Clear local history control to delete saved price snapshots. Close the popup to end a scan and release its in-memory results. Delete exported CSV files using your operating system's file controls. Removing the extension removes its local extension storage; browser synchronization is subject to Chrome's settings and behavior.
Uninstalling the extension does not cancel a paid subscription or delete records held by ExtensionPay or Stripe. Use the subscription-management controls to cancel billing. For account-data access or deletion requests, contact [email protected]. Provider billing records may be retained for legal, tax, fraud-prevention or operational requirements under their policies.
Support and policy changes
If you email support, Tikkivo receives the email address and information you choose to include and uses them to respond to your request. Do not send passwords, licensing tokens, full payment details or customer personal data. This policy does not promise a fixed retention period for provider billing records or support correspondence.
Privacy questions and requests can be sent to [email protected]. Material changes to these practices will be reflected in this policy and its effective date, with additional notice or consent where required.
